Lot was leaving at Sodom before the Lord destroyed it.
The Lord was merciful to Lot because of Abraham, and he led him out of Sodom to a small town called Zoar.
However, Lot was afraid of the people of Zoar.
He moved up to the hill with his daughters and stayed in a cave.
Lot’s daughter planned to get pregnant.
One day, Lots elder daughter said to her younger one;
There is no one in this world to marry to give birth to children.
I have an idea;
Let’s get our father drunk;
So that we can sleep with him and have children
Lot daughters get their father drunk and slept with him
That night, they gave their father wine to drink
The older daughter had intercourse with him
He was so drunk that he didn’t know
The next day, the older daughter said to her sister,
I slept with him last night.
Let’s get him drunk again so that you can sleep with him.
Then each of us can have a child by our father.
Again they got him drunk, and the younger daughter slept with him.
Lot’s daughter became pregnant and gave birth to Moab and Benammi.
After they had intercourse with their father
They became pregnant and gave birth to Son.
The older one gave birth to a Son, and she named him Moab.
He was the ancestor of the present-=day Moabites.
The younger daughter also gave birth to a Son, name Benammi.
He was the ancestor of the present-day Ammonites.
This is the story of how Lot’s daughters became pregnant and gave birth to present-day Moabites and Ammonites.
